MILWAUKEE —As many as 2,000 new jobs are heading to downtown Milwaukee.
The Milwaukee Common Council on Tuesday unanimously approved an incentive deal that would allow Milwaukee Tool to expand its corporate headquarters to downtown.
The Brookfield-based tool manufacturer would take over the former Assurant building at Fifth and Michigan streets.
